Primavera Sound Los Angeles is a new event for one of Europe’s most famous music festivals. In 2022, the festival, held in Barcelona, will make its U.S. debut in a historic park in Los Angeles.
Known for its idyllic venues, the original festival attracts thousands of indie, rock and electro fans to Barcelona each year, offering them a lineup of big names and new talent.
Over the last 20 years, Primavera Sound’s impressive lineups have won fans from all over the world, and the first Los Angeles festival will be no exception, as its new lineup is full of talent.

Primavera Sound LA 2022 – Poster and Tickets
In 2022, Primavera Sound will take place on September 16-18 at the State Historic Park in Los Angeles, CA.

Festival Reviws
Firstly it was a great experience and I would go again now I know what to expect. The line up for weekend 1 was enough to entertain me and the festival location and backdrop by the sea was a firstfor me. And being in Barcelona at that time of year means warm nights. The food was eclectic, good and plenty of outlets. I particularly liked the free coffee stalls. Toilets were plentiful and clean.

Overall, Primavera Sound is a good festival – it wouldn’t have made it to 20 incredible years, or built up such a strong reputation, without doing something right. But due to a series of Covid-19 complications and poor organisational choices, 2022 definitely held it back from being a truly great festival.
Primavera 2022 was undoubtedly plagued by overcrowding issues, dropouts, miscommunication and confusion in terms of organisation, but the artists who do turn up (other worthy mentions go to the dynamic Phoenix and Angèle) go above and beyond to remind us why, in spite of it all, it is still worth coming back. It’s a relief, an exhausting good time, and – as Karen O knows and everyone echoes – a strange fucking dream come true to be here.
